JOB SUMMARY

The Accountant will manage the complete financial lifecycle of our dealership. This includes tracking vehicle inventory, managing spare parts accounts, processing service billing, and ensuring GST compliance. You will be the bridge between the sales floor, the service bay, and the bank.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Inventory Accounting

Record and reconcile daily sales of new vehicles (Two-Wheelers).

• Manage RTO (Regional Transport Office) payments and insurance disbursements.
• Track inventory aging to ensure stock rotation and minimize holding costs.
• Coordinate with the bank for Hypothecation and loan payouts for financed vehicles.

2. Service & Parts Management

Audit and verify daily Job Cards from the service center.

• Monitor "Work-in-Progress" (WIP) accounts for ongoing repairs.
• Conduct monthly physical audits of spare parts and accessories to prevent leakage or theft.
• Reconcile internal consumption of oils and lubricants.

3. Financial Reporting & Taxation

Handle daily cash collection and bank deposits.

• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements for both the Sales and Service divisions.
• File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure TDS compliance.
• Manage vendor payments (OEMs, local suppliers, and utility providers).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education in Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance.
• Experience2–5 years in a retail showroom environment (Automotive preferred).
• Software Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Industry KnowledgeFamiliarity with DMS (Dealer Management Systems).
• Two wheeler license is mandatory.
