Job Description

Core responsibilities

  • Sales strategy and execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve loan disbursement and revenue targets for the assigned area.
  • Team leadership and management: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of sales managers and officers, setting individual targets and monitoring productivity.
  • Business development: Generate leads through direct sales, channel partners (like DSAs), and marketing campaigns. Expand the business by identifying new market opportunities and expanding the network.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with credit, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely loan sanctioning and disbursement processes.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Compliance and risk management: Ensure all sales activities and loan disbursements adhere to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines. 

Key skills and qualifications

  • Experience in sales management, preferably in the loan or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various business loan products and services.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing CRM systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
