Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Branch Head is responsible for the overall profitability and operational excellence of the dealership.

This includes driving aggressive sales targets, ensuring premium customer service, overseeing the workshop (after-sales), and maintaining lean inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans to achieve unit targets for motorcycles/scooters.

  • Monitor and drive Value Added Services (VAS) such as insurance, finance, and extended warranties.
  • Identify and tap into local catchment areas through BTL (Below the Line) marketing activities and roadshows.

2. Operational ManagementManage the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the branch, ensuring cost optimization across all departments.

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure a healthy mix of models and colors while avoiding overstocking.
  • Coordinate with the Spare Parts department to ensure 100% fulfillment for the service center.

3. Customer Experience (CSI/SSI)Ensure every walk-in customer receives a premium experience (from greeting to test ride).

  • Maintain high Sales Satisfaction (SSI) and Service Satisfaction (CSI) scores as per OEM standards.
  • Personally intervene in high-level customer grievances to ensure quick resolution.

4. Team Leadership & TrainingLead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants, Service Managers, and Support Staff.

  • Conduct daily morning huddles to review targets and motivate the team.
  • Identify training gaps and coordinate with the manufacturer for product and soft-skill training.

Required Qualifications & Skills/Feature Requirement

  • EducationBachelor’s degree (MBA in Marketing or Operations preferred).
  • Experience 8–12 years in Automotive Retail (at least 3 years in a leadership role).
  • Technical Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software.
  • LeadershipStrong ability to manage both "blue-collar" (technicians) and "white-collar" (sales) teams.
  • Analytical Ability to interpret sales data, conversion ratios, and market trends.
  • Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Retail Target Achievement: Monthly vs. Actual sales.

  • Enquiry-to-Test Ride Ratio: Ensuring the sales funnel is healthy.
  • Workshop Throughput: Number of vehicles serviced per day.
  • Manpower Turnover: Ability to retain key staff.
