Equity Dealer

Job description:

Responsible for executing client orders on the trading platform with accuracy and efficiency while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory norms. The role involves client interaction, trade confirmation, market updates, and cross-selling financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute buy/sell orders on behalf of clients through online/offline trading platforms.
• Handle client queries related to equity, derivatives, and mutual funds.
• Confirm and verify all client orders before execution to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and update clients on market trends, portfolio performance, and stock recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with all SEBI and exchange regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Update clients about new products, margin policies, and regulatory changes.
• Ensure daily trade reports and other operational documentation are completed accurately.
• Coordinate with the back-office team for settlements and client account-related activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• NISM Series-VIII (Equity Derivatives) Certification .
• Good understanding of stock market operations and trading platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical ability.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online trading software.

Preferred Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience as an Equity Dealer / Trading Executive in a broking firm.
• Exposure to client relationship management and financial product sales will be an added advantage.
