Job Description

A Two Wheeler Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and expanding market reach for motorcycles, scooters, or electric two-wheelers within a specific geographic territory. This role involves direct interaction with potential customers outside of the showroom, channel partners (like dealers or distributors), and achieving ambitious sales targets.


Key Responsibilities



  • Sales and Business DevelopmentTarget Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for two-wheeler units and related products (accessories, insurance, finance).
  • Field Visits & Lead Generation: Conduct regular field visits within the assigned territory to identify and engage new potential customers and follow up on leads generated through various channels.
  • Product Presentation: Effectively demonstrate two-wheeler features, specifications, and benefits, often including test rides, to prospective buyers.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Handle customer objections, negotiate pricing/financing terms, and efficiently close sales deals.
  • Market and Channel ManagementDealer/Channel Support: Work closely with authorized dealerships, sub-dealers, or distributors to ensure product availability, optimal display, and promotional activities.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to provide valuable feedback to the management and adapt sales strategies.
  • Promotional Activities: Coordinate and participate in local sales campaigns, roadshows, trade fairs, and promotional events to generate buzz and leads.
  • Customer Relationship & After-SalesCustomer Relationship Management (CRM): Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and channel partners to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Assist customers with necessary paperwork, financing options, and documentation (e.g., registration, insurance) to ensure a smooth purchase process.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Provide excellent pre-sales and after-sales support to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Qualifications:

Typically a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Diploma in Marketing/Sales is a plus).

  • Experience: Proven work experience in field sales, preferably within the automotive, two-wheeler, or related industries.
  • License: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and be comfortable with extensive daily travel.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse customers and partners.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the company’s two-wheeler models, features, pricing, and competitive landscape.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills to manage a field territory effectively.
  • Resilience: Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient to handle rejection and work under pressure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (like Salesforce or HubSpot) and basic computer applications for reporting.
