Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our CNC laser cutting team. You will be responsible for transforming client sketches and technical requirements into precise 2D vector drawings optimized for high-speed production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate CAD drawings for fiber laser cutting machines.
- Optimize layouts using nesting techniques to minimize material waste.
- Convert various file formats (PDF, hand sketches) into clean, production-ready DXF/DWG files.
- Coordinate with the shop floor to ensure design feasibility and tight tolerances.
- Requirements:Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and CypCut laser software.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal gauges
- Proven ability to manage nesting for maximum material efficiency.
