Purchase Manager – Construction Safety Materials (Supply & Trading Firm)Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to handle procurement operations for construction-related safety materials. The role involves procuremnet and purchaising,vendor management,Inventry and material control, negotiation, Costmanagment and compliance, Coordinating and reporting,stock planning, and ensuring timely supply of materials to meet client and project requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure construction safety materials such as PPE, safety tools, site equipment, and consumables.
• Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores & sales teams for stock planning.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely material availability.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and new products in safety equipment.
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, GRN, and supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with finance for payments and cost control.
• Support management with periodic purchase reports and budgeting inputs.
• RequirementsGraduate in any discipline; preference for Supply Chain / Commerce background.
• 3–7 years experience in procurement, preferably in construction safety materials or industrial supplies.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety materials (PPE, safety gear, site equipment) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP/purchase software.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple procurement tasks.
