Sales Manager

The Sales Manager (Credit Cards) is responsible for driving the acquisition of new-to-bank customers and expanding the credit card portfolio. You will lead a team of sales executives to achieve monthly targets while ensuring the highest level of service and adherence to regulatory guidelines. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, team coaching, and hands-on market execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual card issuance targets.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Conduct daily huddles to monitor pipelines and motivate the team.

• Channel Management: Identify and manage various sourcing channels, corporate tie-ups, and digital leads.

• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, average ticket size etc

• Compliance & Risk: Ensure all applications strictly adhere to KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) guidelines. Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent documentation.

• Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for customers, from initial pitch to card activation.

• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor offerings, interest rates, and reward programs to provide feedback for product enhancement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial services sales in credit cards or PL, with at least 3 years in a team handling role specifically within Credit Cards or Personal Loans.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage a target-driven team and foster a culture of accountability.

• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM tools and Excel to analyze sales data and trends.

• Communication: Strong negotiation and presentation skills to influence both internal stakeholders and external partners.
