Job Title: Showroom Sales Executive / Sales Associate

Reports To: Showroom Manager

Job Summary

The Showroom Sales Executive is the primary representative for the brand within the showroom, responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers. The core goal is to drive sales, achieve revenue targets, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional, personalized shopping experience that reflects the high standards of the company.

Key Responsibilities

A. Sales Generation and Target Achievement

  • Target Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Product Expertise & Demonstration: Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge across the entire inventory, including features, specifications, pricing, and competitive comparisons. Conduct engaging, informative product presentations and demonstrations to showcase value.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial customer greeting and needs assessment to effective negotiation, successful closure of the deal, and precise transaction processing using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Revenue Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for upselling higher-margin products and cross-selling complementary accessories or services (e.g., warranty packages, maintenance plans).

B. Customer Experience and Relationship Management

  • Customer Engagement: Warmly greet all walk-in customers. Utilize active listening and probing questions to accurately assess customer needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a knowledgeable consultant, providing tailored recommendations and solutions that perfectly match the customer's requirements, building trust and rapport.
  • Issue Resolution: Professionally and promptly handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints to ensure quick resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Post-Sale Follow-up: Maintain a consistent follow-up schedule with recent customers and leads to ensure satisfaction, solicit referrals, and nurture long-term relationships for repeat business.
  • Data Management: Accurately record all sales activities, customer interactions, and lead statuses within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

C. Showroom Operations and Compliance

  • Showroom Presentation: Ensure the showroom floor, product displays, and personal work area are immaculate, organized, and adhere to all visual merchandising standards.
  • Inventory Coordination: Coordinate closely with logistics and inventory teams to confirm stock availability, track delivery schedules, and manage sample/display models.
  • Training and Development: Proactively participate in ongoing product training, sales skills workshops, and team meetings to continually enhance performance.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor product launches, marketing campaigns, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2years of proven success in retail sales, showroom sales, or a customer-facing, target-driven environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. The ability to articulate complex product information clearly and persuasively.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with POS systems and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Personal Attributes: Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, professional in appearance and conduct, with a strong commitment to delivering world-class customer service.
