Position: Traceability Data Executive

Location: Cochin (Maradu) – Hilite Platino

Company: Smartuna Solutions (Specializing in traceability analysis for the global seafood industry)

Smartuna Solutions, a fast-growing leader in Seafood traceability and verification within the USD 386 billion global Seafood industry, is seeking a “Traceability Data Executive” to join its team in Cochin (Maradu).

As a global front-runner, the company works closely with international partners to strengthen sustainability, compliance, and traceability practices across the seafood supply chain.

Role Overview

The Traceability Data Executive will focus on data analysis, monitoring traceability systems, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of supply chain information.

Key Responsibilities     

• Data Monitoring, Analysis and verification: Oversee and monitor shipment and traceability data within the company’s online tracking system, analyzing supply chain information to identify inconsistencies, trends, and potential compliance gaps, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
• Projects – Participate in tracking system innovation projects by conducting research and contributing to system improvements and development.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and dashboards using Excel, Zoho, and other analytical tools.
• Global Coordination: Communicate regularly with international partners (retailers, food-service clients) and internal teams in the EU and US regarding data-related matters.

Candidate Requirements 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field
• Certification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Supply Chain Management·        
• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis, reporting, monitoring, or operations-related roles(Fresher’s with strong potential also welcome)
• Age: 23-30 years(Preferred) 

Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis using analytical tools
• Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute to innovation projects
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, data validation, pivot tables preferred)
• Excellent written and spoken English (In the office, need to communicate in English.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation
• Experience with data analytics tools or certifications in Data Analytics
• Familiarity with international trade, export documentation, or supply chain processes
• Residing within 20 km of Maradu, Cochin
