Two Wheeler Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanic proficient in the maintenance, diagnostic, and repair of both high-volume Japanese technology (Honda) and modern-classic European-inspired machinery (Jawa). The ideal candidate is comfortable switching between a fuel-efficient Activa and a liquid-cooled, DOHC Jawa engine.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Diagnostics & Repair

• Perform routine servicing, engine overhauling, and electrical troubleshooting for the entire Honda portfolio (from scooters to 350cc models).
• Execute specialized repairs on Jawa/Yezdi motorcycles, focusing on liquid-cooling systems, shim-based valve adjustments, and dual-channel ABS.
• Use OBD scanners and diagnostic tools to identify EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) faults.

2. Precision Maintenance

• Handle delicate aesthetic components; ensure chrome parts and matte finishes on Jawa bikes are protected during service.
• Manage "First Time Right" repairs to minimize repeat complaints and ensure rider safety.

3. Quality & Safety

• Conduct rigorous road tests to ensure the vehicle meets manufacturer performance standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized bay, ensuring specialty tools for both brands are stored correctly.

Required Skills & Competencies Feature /Honda Requirements AND Jawa/Yezdi Requirements

• Engine Knowledge Expertise in 4-stroke HET engines and PGM-FI systems.Knowledge of liquid-cooled, DOHC, 6-speed engines.
• TransmissionProficiency in V-Matic (CVT) and manual gearboxes.
• Mastery of heavy-duty wet multi-plate clutches.Chassis/SuspensionStandard telescopic and Combi-Brake Systems (CBS).Understanding of gas-charged twin shocks and dual-channel ABS.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in a high-volume setup.
• Experience with premium or "classic" brands is a plus

Qualifications/Education: ITI in Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV) or equivalent experience.

• Certifications: Training certifications from Honda (HSTC) or Classic Legends (Jawa) are highly preferred.
• Driver’s License: Valid two-wheeler license is mandatory for test rides.
