Warehouse Assistant

Support efficient warehouse operations for Dew Products’ line of HOCl-based gentle, sustainable hygiene solutions. Key responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products like Cleansing Water, Hand & Body Wash Foam, and Nipple & Skin Care—while maintaining quality, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive & Inspect Shipments
• Unload incoming stock, verify quantities and product integrity (e.g., packaging of Dew bottles), and record discrepancies.
• Inspect for damage or quality issues.
• Organize & Store Inventory
• Assign products to designated zones (shelves, racks, bins).
• Follow FIFO/LIFO procedures, especially to track expiry dates and batch numbers for hygiene products.
• Maintain orderly, labeled inventory to streamline picking.
• Pick & Pack Orders
• Accurately pick products based on order sheets (e‑commerce or B2B).
• Pack items securely and prepare for dispatch, including bubble-wrap fragile bottles and bagging multi‑units.
• Manage Inventory Records
• Use WMS or manual logs to track receipts, disbursements, and stock levels.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile variances with management.
• Operate Equipment Safely
• Handle pallet jacks, hand trucks, and possibly forklifts—ensuring OSHA/EHS compliance.
• Assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
• Maintain Clean & Safe Workspace
• Keep aisles and storage areas clutter-free.
• Follow Dew’s safety protocols—no-harsh-chemical policy—wear PPE, handle spills responsibly.
• Support Quality & Compliance
• Adhere to Dew’s sustainability standards—no chemical residues.
• Monitor temperature/humidity conditions for product integrity.
• Collaboration & Reporting
• Work closely with Procurement, Dispatch, and Customer Support teams.
• Report issues like stockouts, damage, or delays proactively.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Haves

• Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift items.
• Attention to detail essential for batch tracking and expiry control
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, experience with WMS/inventory software)
• Good communication and teamwork mindset

Preferred

• Previous warehouse/logistics experience, especially in FMCG or pharma-style products
• Familiarity with barcode scanners or handheld devices
• Forklift or material-handling certification
• Awareness of hygiene/product safety regulations

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting required
• Ability to handle packaging materials and stacking boxes
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment (air-conditioned or ambient)
