Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The Accountant will be responsible for handling accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits while ensuring smooth financial functioning of the office.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records in Tally/ERP or relevant accounting software.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups.
• Prepare and verify financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash transactions.
• Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance including timely return filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and vendors regarding financial matters.
• Support payroll preparation and maintain employee reimbursement records.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
• Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum 2–3 years in a similar role).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
