Job Description
- Job Roles & Responsibilities – ITI Fitter (Assembly)🔧 Core Assembly WorkAssemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and complete machines
- Fit components like shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, valves, and brackets
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Perform alignment, leveling, and tightening to specifications
- 📐 Drawing & MeasurementRead and interpret engineering drawings and assembly diagrams
- Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerances
- 🏭 Production & Manufacturing SupportWork on assembly lines in industries such as:
- Automotive
- Heavy engineering
- Electrical equipment
- Machinery manufacturing
- Meet production targets and quality standards
- 🔩 Machine & Equipment HandlingInstall and dismantle mechanical equipment
- Assist in trial runs and functional testing
- Identify and rectify assembly defects
- 🛠️ Maintenance SupportAssist in preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Replace worn-out or defective parts
- Lubrication and basic servicing
