Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial function, institutionalize best practices, and represent the organization at the highest level across boardrooms, investors, lenders, and external stakeholders.

The CFO will act as a key partner to the promoter and directors, bringing financial discipline, strategic clarity, and governance rigor to a fast-growing, family-led business transitioning toward a more structured and scalable enterprise.

Kamal Timbers India Limited is a third-generation, family-owned wood and timber enterprise with a strong legacy since 1991. With pan-India operations, deep industry relationships, and integrated capabilities across sourcing, processing, and distribution, the company is now entering a phase of structured growth, institutionalization, and capital market readiness.

This is a frontline leadership position where you will:

- Work directly with the promoter & board

- Drive financial strategy and discipline

- Represent the company to investors, banks, and key stakeholders

- Help transition a legacy business into a modern, institution-ready company

What You’ll Own

- Complete oversight of finance, accounts, compliance & MIS

- Presenting financials and insights at board meetings

- Building systems for scale, governance & transparency

- Managing banking relationships, debt, and working capital

- Driving profitability, cost optimization, and financial planning

- Supporting fundraising / IPO readiness / strategic expansion

Who You Are

- 5–10+ years in finance with leadership exposure

- CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)

- Experience in manufacturing / trading / asset-heavy businesses

- Strong understanding of Indian markets, compliance & capital structuring

- Comfortable working in a family-run business environment

- Able to balance professional rigor with entrepreneurial agility
