Computer Operator

Job Responsibilities – Computer Operator

• Operate computer systems and peripheral equipment efficiently
• Enter, update, and maintain data accurately in computer systems
• Monitor system performance and report errors or malfunctions
• Maintain records, files, and reports in both digital and physical formats
• Ensure data security and confidentiality at all times
• Perform routine system checks, backups, and basic troubleshooting
• Assist other staff with computer-related tasks when required
• Follow company procedures and ensure timely completion of assigned work

Other Specific Requirements

• Basic knowledge of computer operations and office software (MS Word, Excel, Internet, Email)
• Good typing speed with accuracy
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of data entry and record keeping
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Minimum educational qualification: 10+2 / Diploma / Graduate (as applicable)
• Prior experience as a computer operator or data entry operator is an advantage
