Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Admission/Career Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students or clients through the admissions or career selection process by providing accurate information, personalized advice, and ongoing support. This role is crucial in helping individuals make informed decisions about their education or career paths.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students and working professionals on educational and career opportunities based on their background, interests, and goals.

Guide applicants through the admissions process, including program selection, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and deadlines.

Provide one-on-one counseling sessions (in person, via phone, or online) to understand and address individual aspirations and challenges.

Maintain a strong knowledge of academic programs, industry trends, and job market requirements.

Handle incoming inquiries and follow up with leads via phone, email, or CRM tools.

Assist in organizing webinars, seminars, and open-house events to engage potential students/clients.

Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to align counseling strategies with institutional goals.

Maintain records of counseling sessions and generate periodic reports on conversion rates and student/client feedback.

Stay updated with admission policies, competitive programs, scholarship opportunities, and visa/immigration regulations (if applicable).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Proven experience in academic counseling, career guidance, or admissions (1–3 years preferred).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathy, patience, and the ability to work with diverse individuals.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Goal-oriented with a passion for helping others achieve their academic and career goals.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of educational systems (domestic and international).

Familiarity with psychometric testing or career assessment tools.

Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Job Title: Arena Counselor / Education Counselor

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-driven Arena Counselor to guide students in choosing the right multimedia and design courses based on their interests and career goals. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in converting inquiries into enrollments while providing high-quality guidance about career opportunities in animation, VFX, gaming, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact with walk-in and online inquiries to understand their academic background, interests, and career aspirations.

Explain various courses offered in animation, VFX, graphic design, UI/UX, game design, and multimedia.

Guide students in selecting appropriate programs based on their goals and market demand.

Follow up with leads generated through campaigns, seminars, digital platforms, and referrals.

Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets and ensure timely fee collection.

Maintain a database of inquiries and regularly update the CRM with follow-up actions.

Coordinate with the academic team to ensure smooth onboarding of new students.

Provide career counseling sessions, conduct aptitude discussions, and support students in understanding the creative industry landscape.

Organize and participate in student engagement activities like career fests, workshops, and webinars.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Arts, or Communication preferred).

1–3 years of experience in counseling, sales, or customer support (preferably in education or training institutes).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong listening skills with a student-friendly approach.

Knowledge or passion for animation, design, or media-related fields is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Arena Animation’s course portfolio and industry trends.

Fluency in local languages in addition to English.

Basic knowledge of design tools or creative software (added advantage, not mandatory).
