Job Title: Debt Recovery Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and professional Debt Recovery Agent to recover overdue payments from clients while maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a firm but respectful approach to recovering debts.

• Key Responsibilities:Contact
• customers via phone, email, or in person to collect outstanding debts.
• Maintain records of all collection activity, communications, and promises to pay.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements in accordance with company policy.
• Follow up consistently on agreed payment schedules to ensure timely receipt.
• Resolve disputes and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department.
• Advise customers on their legal obligations and consequences of non-payment.
• Update customer account information accurately in the database.
• Meet monthly recovery targets and KPIs set by the management.
• Maintain compliance with all debt collection laws and regulations (e.g., RBI guidelines if in India).
• Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
• Qualifications
• Skills: High school a degree in finance, business, .
• Prior experience in debt recovery, collections, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful or confrontational situations calmly.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, CRM systems, etc.).
• Understanding of relevant laws and ethical practices in debt collection.
• Must be self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented.
