Job Description – E-commerce Operations Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Operations Executive to manage day-to-day operations across online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and our own channels. This role involves ensuring smooth order processing, packaging, inventory management, and vendor coordination to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Management & Fulfillment

• Process daily orders from marketplaces and website.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
• Coordinate with courier/logistics partners for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery-related issues.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain stock levels across marketplaces and warehouse.
• Update inventory on Amazon, Flipkart, and other platforms to avoid stock-outs or overselling.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical vs. system inventory.
• Raise purchase requests to replenish stock.

3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

• Manage relationships with packaging, logistics, and product vendors.
• Negotiate and coordinate for timely procurement of materials and supplies.
• Monitor vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery timelines).

4. Packaging & Quality Control

• Ensure packaging is as per marketplace and brand guidelines.
• Check product quality before dispatch to minimize returns and complaints.
• Maintain packaging material stock.

5. Returns & Customer Service Support

• Handle returns, replacements, and damaged goods.
• Coordinate with customer service team to resolve queries related to orders and delivery.

6. Reporting & Analysis

• Maintain daily/weekly MIS on orders, returns, and inventory.
• Share operational insights with management for process improvement.
• RequirementsGraduate in any discipline (preferably Commerce/Business).
• 1–3 years of experience in E-commerce operations (Amazon/Flipkart/Seller Central experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of order processing, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Day-to-Day Activities (Snapshot)Download and process marketplace orders.
• Print invoices, labels, and manage packaging/dispatch.
• Update stock in systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement.
• Track courier pickups/deliveries and resolve delays.
• Manage returns/refunds.
• Maintain reports for management.
