Job Title: Power Electronics Technician / Repair EngineerSpecialization: EV Chargers (AC/DC) & Industrial Rectifiers

Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Electronics Repair Technician/Engineer with deep expertise in diagnosing and fixing EV Charging Stations and High-Power Rectifier Units. The ideal candidate must be an expert at component-level troubleshooting and should be able to work independently on complex PCB assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in EV Chargers (AC & DC Fast Chargers) and Industrial SMPS-based Rectifiers.

• Component-Level Repair: Identify and replace faulty components such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, Bridge Rectifiers, Gate Drivers, and Control ICs.

• Equipment Mastery: Proficient use of diagnostic tools including Digital Oscilloscopes (DSO), Multimeters, LCR Meters, and DC Load Banks.

• Schematic Analysis: Ability to read and trace complex multilayer PCB schematic diagrams to locate circuit failures.

• Soldering Excellence: Expert-level SMD and Through-Hole soldering/de-soldering techniques without damaging the PCB traces.

• Testing & Calibration: Perform post-repair load testing to ensure the units meet original manufacturer specifications.

• Technical RequirementsPower Electronics: Strong understanding of Switching Power Supplies (SMPS), Buck-Boost Converters, and Inverter circuits.

• Communication Protocols: Basic knowledge of CAN bus, RS485, and Modbus communication used in EV chargers.

• Safety: Familiarity with high-voltage safety standards and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection protocols.

• Candidate QualificationsExperience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in EV charger or Power Electronics repair.

• Education: ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

• Skills: Strong analytical mindset and the ability to repair boards where service manuals may not be available.
