Electrical Technician

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Assemble electrical panels, control systems, and switchboards.

Install outlets, lighting systems, circuit breakers, and electrical components.

Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults, malfunctions, and equipment failures.

Replace defective components such as motors, wiring, relays, and sensors.

Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other technicians.

Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices.

Provide technical support during installation or system upgrades.

Use testing devices (multimeters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes) to identify issues.

Troubleshoot PLCs, circuits, and automation equipment (if industrial).

Inspect electrical systems to ensure functionality, continuity, and safety etc.
