Job brief

We are looking for a resourceful Purchase Executive with good knowledge of the NCR market for vendor development, procurement activities, and strengthening supplier base.

Responsibilities

• Develop new vendor resources and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in the NCR region.
• Procure materials, components, and services as per company requirements.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Ensure timely follow-up on purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments for material planning and quality checks.
• Conduct market surveys to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain purchase records and documentation.
• Travel to vendor sites and markets as required.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and maintain vendor evaluation records.
• Follow company policies, safety, and compliance guidelines.

Requirements and skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or vendor development.
• Good knowledge of NCR industrial and local markets.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Own bike is mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email correspondence).
