Job Title: GIS Executive

Location: Faridabad

Job Summary:

The GIS Executive is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining spatial data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The role involves map creation, data analysis, database management, and supporting projects with accurate geospatial insights.

• Key Responsibilities
• :Create, update, and maintain GIS maps, layers, and spatial databases
• Collect, validate, and analyze spatial and non-spatial data
• Perform geospatial analysis to support planning, decision-making, and reporting
• Prepare thematic maps, dashboards, and reports as per project requirements
• Coordinate with field teams for data collection and verification
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to GIS standards
• Manage GIS software, tools, and related documentation
• Support internal teams with GIS-related queries and technical assistance
• Maintain metadata and backup of GIS data
• Stay updated with new GIS tools, technologies, and best practices
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• :Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Urban Planning, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in GIS or spatial data management
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar)
• Knowledge of spatial analysis, coordinate systems, and map projections
• Basic understanding of databases (PostGIS, SQL is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Preferred Skills
• (Optional):Experience with remote sensing or satellite imagery
• Knowledge of GPS data collection tools
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Python, or GIS automation
• Experience in utilities, telecom, urban planning, or infrastructure projects
