Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Head Chef to lead our back-of-house team. As the Head Chef, you will run daily operations, develop seasonal menus, ensure the highest quality of cuisine, and maintain strict food safety standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader capable of managing inventory, food costs, and mentoring kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Menu Development: Design and create new, innovative, and profitable menu items.
· Team Handling: Train and manage all kitchen staff to maintain a positive, efficient work environment.
· Operational Control: Monitor and control food/labor costs and inventory levels.
· Quality Control: Ensure all food meets high-quality presentation and taste standards.
· Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
· 15+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
· Proven experience in menu planning and staff management.
· Culinary arts degree or equivalent certification preferred.
