Job Description – HR Manager (Generalist Profile)

 

Position: HR Manager

Location: A-1864, Bhagat House, Gate No-5, Greenfield Colony, Faridabad, near NHPC Chowk, Haryana-121003

Company: Bhagat Group of Companies

Work Mode: Office-based (No remote option)

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced HR Manager (Generalist) with 8+ years of proven managerial-level experience to lead and manage the complete HR function. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on HR leader who can oversee all aspects of HR including Talent Management, Payroll, Compliance, Employee Engagement, HRMS, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations.

You will be responsible for strengthening HR systems and policies, ensuring legal compliance, driving performance culture, and building a progressive people-focused organization.



Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise management on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent strategy.
  • Drive HR transformation and automation through HRMS systems.

2. Payroll & HR Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll management with accuracy and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure timely processing of salaries, reimbursements, incentives, and full & final settlements.
  • Implement HRMS solutions for attendance, time-office, and employee lifecycle management.

3. Statutory Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure compliance with all labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, minimum wages, POSH, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for audits, inspections, and statutory filings.
  • Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and consultants for compliance matters.

4. Performance Management System (PMS)

  • Lead the Performance Appraisal Process (goal setting, mid-year reviews, final evaluations).
  • Ensure PMS is aligned with career growth, promotions, and rewards.
  • Introduce KPI/KRA-based performance culture across levels.

5. Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Drive recruitment strategies for managerial, technical, and operational roles.
  • Build strong talent pipelines to support business expansion.
  • Design retention programs, career development paths, and succession planning.

6. Learning & Development

  • Assess training needs and implement development programs across levels.
  • Introduce leadership and technical training initiatives.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning and upskilling.

7. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Design and execute engagement frameworks to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-oriented culture.

8. Policy Development & HR Governance

  • Draft, review, and implement HR policies & SOPs.
  • Ensure organizational policies are aligned with business goals and legal frameworks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and governance in all HR processes.



Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • 8+ years of HR experience with at least 3–4 years in a managerial leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in Payroll, Statutory Compliance, PMS, HRMS, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, and HR Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and industrial relations.
  • Hands-on experience in HR technology tools/HRMS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational excellence.
