Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping & Transactions:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Generate management reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, deposits, and return filings.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Audit & Documentation:
- Prepare necessary documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Liaise with auditors and provide required information and explanations.
- Maintain organized and secure financial records and documentation.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance internal controls.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting systems and tools.
