Job Title: MEP Costing Engineer / EstimatorJob SummaryThe MEP Costing Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works in construction projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material, labor, and overall project costs.

• Key ResponsibilitiesStudy and analyze MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings
• Prepare and review tender documents and bid proposals
• Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations
• Develop cost comparisons and value engineering options
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
• Track project costs and prepare cost reports
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
