SAP Administrator

We are seeking a skilled SAP HANA Administrator to join our team during the implementation phase of SAP. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement and support the system post-implementation. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of SAP within our organization and providing ongoing support to end-users.

Responsibilities

• Implementation Assistance: Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful implementation of SAP modules.
• Provide expertise in configuring SAP modules based on business requirements.
• Assist in data migration and system integration activities.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to familiarize them with SAP functionalities.
• System Administration: Monitor SAP system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as applying patches and upgrades.
• Manage user access and security settings within SAP.
• Coordinate with external vendors for technical support and system enhancements.
• Support and Documentation: Act as the primary point of contact for end-user support related to SAP.
• Address user queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Develop and implement best practices for SAP usage and administration.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes and improvements.
• Stay updated on new SAP releases and features and assess their relevance to the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Administrator or in a similar role with a minimum of 5+ years.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as Finance (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and others.
• Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and configuration.
• Proficiency in SAP Basis administration tasks including system monitoring, performance tuning, and user management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in SAP Administration is preferred but not required.
