Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial operations for a high-volume F&B and food delivery business. The role requires strong control over daily accounting, compliance, and profitability tracking across multiple sales channels (dine-in, aggregators, catering, direct orders).

• Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Bookkeeping - Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally / accounting software
• Handle day-to-day entries, journal vouchers, bank reconciliation
• Revenue Reconciliation - Reconcile daily sales from platforms like Zomato, Swiggy, POS, and direct orders
• Track commissions, payouts, discounts, and settlement cycles
• Cost Control & MISMonitor food cost, packaging cost, and overall operating expenses
• Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports with insights on profitability
• Compliance & Taxation - Manage GST filings, TDS, and statutory compliances
• Ensure proper invoicing and audit readiness
• Vendor & Payroll Management - Handle vendor payments, ledgers, and aging reports
• Support payroll processing and staff reimbursements
• Financial Reporting - Prepare P&L, cash flow statements, and variance analysis
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting

• Requirements:4–7 years of accounting experience (preferably in F&B / retail / QSR / cloud kitchen)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and aggregator reconciliation
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel (advanced), and POS integrations
• Understanding of high-volume transaction environments
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Good to Have:Experience in multi-outlet or cloud kitchen setups
• Exposure to inventory and food cost tracking systems
• Ability to work with founders on financial strategy
