Senior EV Charger Repair Technician / Service Engineer

Job Title: Senior EV Charger Repair Technician / Service EngineerJob SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled EV Charger Repair Technician with deep expertise in diagnosing and repairing Power Electronics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major EV charging brands and a strong understanding of both AC and DC fast-charging systems.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults at the component level (PCB, IGBTs, MOSFETs, Rectifiers) for EV chargers.
• Brand Expertise: Expertise in repairing and servicing chargers from brands like Amara Raja, Exicom, UTL, Ether, Joy, Vertiv, TATA, Mahindra, and Bajaj.
• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and firmware updates on both residential and commercial EV charging stations.
• Component-Level Repair: Skilled in soldering, using Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to fix internal circuitry.
• On-Site & Workshop Support: Handle both workshop-based repairs and occasional on-site troubleshooting for large-scale charging hubs.
• Technical Requirements (Must-Have)Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (ITI holders with high experience are also welcome).
• Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of AC/DC Power Conversion, Control Circuits, and Communication Protocols (OCPP, CAN bus).
• Specific Experience: * Minimum 2–4 years of experience specifically in EV Charger or High-Power UPS/Inverter repair.

• Hands-on experience with high-voltage testing and safety protocols.
• Brand Familiarity: Familiarity with the internal architecture of Exicom, Vertiv, and UTL systems is highly preferred.
• Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to read complex circuit diagrams and technical manuals.
• Good communication skills to explain technical issues to the management or clients.
