Support Engineer
As a Support Engineer at Netweb Technologies, your role will involve the following responsibilities
- Collaborating with fellow system administrators, engineers, and support team members by leading projects and providing technical coursework to junior team members.
- Providing Fanatical Support in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting products and services for customers, including RedHat Linux OS level concerns, web servers, database servers, applications servers, and mail services (e.g., Nginx, Apache, PHP, RHCS clustering, MySQL, FTP, SSH, and DNS).
- Supporting, configuring, and automating the deployment of Linux/Windows infrastructure through existing Kickstart/Cobbler/Engine infrastructure.
- Establishing and recommending policies on system maintenance, use, performance, services, and automation.
- Troubleshooting internal and external applications, hardware problems, and operating system issues.
- Utilizing skills in Shell Scripting and having exposure to KVM, Python, and cloud technologies. Experience in the HPC (High-Performance Computing) Environment is considered an added advantage.
- Demonstrating expertise in Linux, including RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Centos, Services, NFS (Network File System), Monitoring, and Troubleshooting.
Qualification
- Minimum 5-7 years of broad-based experience in accelerating cloud-enabled transformations and driving business value based on client needs, goals, and innovative scenarios with accelerators and predefined solutions. Ideally, you should have worked for Outsourcing and Managed Services companies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT field, preferably with a master's degree.
- Certification as a Professional Architect from at least one of the Hyperscalers is preferred.
- Preferred domain knowledge in various Industry verticals such as Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail, Energy & Utilities, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, presentable, and confident, as the role entails direct interaction with clients.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and demonstrate high energy and self-driven approach.
- Strong analytical, time-management, and organizational skills, comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
- Proficient in building and maintaining personal networks, relationship management, persuasion, influence skills, and encouraging collaboration across service delivery, customer operational organizations, and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with a high attention to detail, proven experience as a Cloud Consultant for complex and hybrid cloud services.
- Adherence to Cloud GTM process and metrics and providing timely updates to management.
- Support in continuous improvement of Cloud product Services & Offerings.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Support Engineer at Netweb Technologies, you must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or engineering, or its equivalent.
- Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in a relevant technical role.
- Proficiency in Linux applications and operating systems.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi.
