Job Purpose

To handle product development activities for railway components, prepare VMC programs, optimize machining processes, and supervise the machine shop to ensure smooth production, quality, and on-time delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop new products as per railway drawings & specifications.

2. Develop manufacturing processes for new components.

3. Coordinate with design, quality, and production teams for Development.

4. Create VMC programs.

5. Troubleshoot machining/programming issues.

6. Update and maintain program history and storage.

7. Allocate daily work to machine operators (VMC, conventional).

8. Ensure production targets, quality, and productivity.

9. Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance needs

10. Maintain 5S, safety practices, and discipline in the shop floor.

11. Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.

12. Maintain Daily Report and Report Management abnormalities.
