We are looking for a developer with experience building and maintaining web crawlers. The role involves creating automated programs that visit websites, follow links, and collect publicly available data in a reliable and efficient way.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain web crawlers
- Collect structured data from websites
- Handle pagination, links, and large numbers of pages
- Follow website rules (robots.txt, rate limits)
- Clean and organize collected data
Required Skills:
- Experience with web crawling or web scraping
- Programming skills (Python preferred)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with tools like Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, or Selenium
Nice to Have:
- Experience with proxies and IP rotation
- Database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
