About the Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned operation head to lead the manufacturing operations of a growing textile manufacturing company with national and export markets.

This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who has successfully managed large textile production facilities, driven operational efficiency, and built high-performing factory teams.

You will be responsible for end-to-end plant leadership, ensuring production excellence, cost competitiveness, and world-class quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead End-to-End Plant Operations

  • Direct and manage the entire manufacturing facility, including production, maintenance, quality, and plant administration.
  • Ensure the plant consistently achieves production targets, capacity utilization, and delivery commitments.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Implement lean manufacturing, productivity improvements, and process optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, throughput, and cost per unit.

Production Planning & Delivery

  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to ensure timely order execution.
  • Coordinate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure customer delivery commitments are met.

Quality Leadership

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve consistency.

Cost & Efficiency Management

  • Monitor plant costs including raw material usage, wastage, labour productivity, and energy efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational margins and plant profitability.

Maintenance & Engineering

  • Ensure robust preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
  • Lead machinery upgrades and technology improvements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a large team of production managers, supervisors, engineers, and plant staff.
  • Build a culture of accountability, discipline, safety, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure the plant meets all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

Candidate Profile

βœ” 15–20+ years of experience in textile manufacturing operations (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

βœ” Experience managing large manufacturing facilities or multi-line production plants

βœ” Strong background in weaving / knitting / dyeing / finishing / technical textiles

βœ” Proven success in improving productivity, efficiency, and plant performance

βœ” Strong leadership and team management capabilities

βœ” Degree in Textile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
