Job Description

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring minimum and maximum levels are met. This includes requisition, receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate manual or digital records of all stock movements, including inward and outward registers and monthly reconciliation statements.
  • Stock Control: Control the process of issuing materials against requests and returning items, ensuring all materials are properly documented and inspected by quality assurance.
  • Operations Management: Manage day-to-day store operations, from organizing the stockroom to implementing and maintaining safety and security procedures.
  • Coordination: Liaise with other departments, such as production and procurement, and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
