🎯 Job PurposeTo lead and manage end-to-end garment production operations for men’s clothing, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination between cutting, stitching, finishing, and dispatch.

• 🔧 Key Responsibilities🏭 Production Planning & ControlPlan daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
• Ensure on-time production as per buyer and internal timelines
• Coordinate between cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing departments
• 🧵 Manufacturing OperationsSupervise line setup, manpower allocation, and workflow optimization
• Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and reduce bottlenecks
• Improve productivity, efficiency, and line balancing
• ✅ Quality ControlEnsure garments meet quality standards, measurements, and finishing norms
• Reduce rejections, alterations, and rework
• Implement quality checkpoints at each stage of production
• 📦 Inventory & Material ManagementCoordinate with stores for fabric, trims, and accessories availability
• Control fabric wastage and optimize consumption
• Track raw material vs output efficiency
• 👥 Team & Vendor ManagementManage supervisors, line leaders, tailors, helpers, and job workers
• Coordinate with jobbers / outside units (if any)
• Train supervisors for better output and discipline
• 📊 Reporting & Cost ControlMaintain daily production reports, efficiency reports, and manpower reports
• Control production costs and improve margins
• Work closely with management on planning and improvements
• 🧠 Process ImprovementImplement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Improve factory discipline, safety, and compliance
• Suggest improvements for speed, quality, and cost saving
• 🎓 Required Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of men’s garment manufacturing (shirts, trousers, denim, casual wear, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in cutting, stitching, finishing, and washing (if applicable)
• Knowledge of production planning, line balancing, and IE concepts
• Ability to handle high-volume production
• Leadership & people-management skills
• 🎓 QualificationDiploma / Degree in Garment Technology / Textile / Fashion Technology/Experience
• Practical experience is more important than formal education
