Kitchen Helper

Reports To: Café Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary:We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Café Helper to assist in daily operations of the café. The role involves supporting the kitchen, serving staff, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth service and a pleasant experience for our customers.

• Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing basic food and beverages (tea, coffee, sandwiches, etc.).
• Help in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining area, and service counters.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as required.
• Clear and clean tables after customer use.
• Support chefs, baristas, and wait staff during busy hours.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain hygiene standards.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.
• Requirements:Previous experience in hospitality/café/restaurant is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
