Mandatory Skills

5+ years development experience in Thermo Fisher Scientific SampleManager LIMS.
1) Configure, customize, and maintain Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS to support laboratory operations.
2) Develop and optimize LIMS workflows, sample tracking, and data management solutions to improve lab efficiency.
3) Collaborate with scientists, lab managers, and IT teams to implement and enhance LIMS functionalities.
4) Integrate SampleManager LIMS with laboratory instruments, ERP, ELN, and other enterprise systems.
5) Ensure regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, GxP, HIPAA) and maintain audit trails within the LIMS environment.
6) Troubleshoot LIMS-related issues, provide technical support, and implement system upgrades.
7) Develop custom scripts, plugins, or automation tools using VGL (VGL scripting language for SampleManager LIMS), SQL, or C#/.NET (preferred).
8) Work with REST APIs, web services, and cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure) for LIMS data management.
9) Maintain data integrity, security, and scalability of LIMS deployments in regulated lab environments.

Good To Have :
1) C#/.NET programming for LIMS customization and automation.
2) Experience with VGL scripting (SampleManager LIMS programming language).
3) Exposure to cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
4) Knowledge of bioinformatics, analytical chemistry, or clinical research workflows.
5) Understanding of HL7, ASTM, or OPC-UA for instrument interfacing.
