Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & BookkeepingMaintain complete books of accounts including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and expense analysis
- Monitor cost controls, budgets, and project-wise accounting
- Statutory & Regulatory ComplianceHandle GST compliance: returns (GSTR-1, 3B), reconciliation, notices, and audits
- Manage TDS compliance: deductions, returns, challans, Form 16/16A
- Ensure PF, ESI, Professional Tax compliance and filings
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and government inspections
- Payroll & Employee ComplianceProcess payroll accurately including deductions and reimbursements
- Coordinate with HR for attendance, salary structures, and settlements
- Manage full & final settlements and employee tax computations
- Banking & TreasuryManage banking operations, fund planning, and payment processing
- Handle vendor payments, reconciliations, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with banks for documentation, limits, and compliance
- Audit & CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact for CA, auditors, consultants, and authorities
- Prepare schedules, confirmations, and audit documentation
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Process Improvement & ControlsStrengthen internal financial controls and compliance frameworks
- Improve accounting processes through automation and SOPs
- Support management in financial decision-making
