Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to support day-to-day warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will help manage inventory, oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensure safety compliance, and lead warehouse staff to deliver high standards of operational efficiency and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management.

- Supervise and guide warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.

- Work closely with transport, procurement, and client servicing teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. 

- Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.

- Implement safety, hygiene, and security protocols in compliance with company and legal standards.

- Optimize warehouse space utilization and improve workflow efficiencies.

- Strong knowledge of SAP and other digital tools.

- Resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and client concerns in a timely manner.

- Generate and analyze reports related to inventory, manpower, KPIs, and performance.

- Ensure timely coordination with vendors, clients, and transporters for smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

- 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a 3PL environment.

- Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, barcode scanning, and inventory control.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in warehousing.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.

- Fluency in English and Hindi is preferred.

Work Conditions:

- Based at the warehouse site; occasional travel may be required.

- Flexibility for shift-based or weekend work as per operational needs.
