Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Executive with practical experience in Tally accounting software and R/A bill preparation. The candidate should have exposure to project sites for measurement verification and billing coordination, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly bills as per the Schedule of Rates (SOR) and client billing terms.

Key Responsibilities

·        Prepare, verify, and finalize Running Account (R/A) bills and final bills as per project progress and contractual terms.

·        Visit sites accordingly to verify work completion and coordinate with clients for billing accuracy.

·        Generate invoices and maintain proper billing records in Tally and project-specific formats.

·        Ensure timely submission of bills to clients as per billing frequency (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly).

·        Reconcile client billing with the Schedule of Rates (SOR) and agreements to ensure compliance with approved rates.

·        Coordinate with project, accounts, and management teams for billing approvals and follow-ups.

·        Maintain documentation of all measurements, client acknowledgments, and payment receipts.

Assist in preparing billing reports, summaries, and MIS for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

·        2–5 years of experience in billing (preferably in construction, HVAC, or MEP projects).

·        Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel.

·        Strong knowledge of R/A billing, work measurement, and Schedule of Rates (SOR).

·        Good understanding of project-site operations and work verification procedures.

·        Attention to detail, numeric accuracy, and strong coordination skills.

·        Ability to manage deadlines and multiple billing cycles simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience in government or public sector project billing.

·        Basic understanding of GST and taxation related to project billing.

·        Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
