Firmware/ Power Electronics Engineer

A Firmware Program Developer designs, develops, tests, and maintains embedded firmware that runs on hardware devices such as sensors, IoT modules, consumer electronics, industrial controllers, and custom PCBs. The role involves working closely with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver reliable, optimized, and scalable embedded solutions.

Design and implement embedded firmware in C/C++ (or Rust, depending on stack).

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Firmware / Power Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and developing power circuit boards. The ideal candidate will work on power electronics hardware and firmware development, including testing, debugging, and optimization of power-based embedded systems.

• Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test power circuit boards (SMPS, DC-DC converters, inverters, motor drivers, power supplies).
• Develop and modify firmware for microcontrollers used in power electronics applications.
• Read and interpret circuit schematics, datasheets, and technical documents.
• Select components (MOSFETs, IGBTs, drivers, inductors, capacitors, protection circuits).
• Perform board bring-up, testing, debugging, and fault analysis.
• Work with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) as required.
• Optimize power efficiency, thermal performance, and reliability.
• Coordinate with PCB layout, production, and testing teams.
• Support prototype validation and production troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation and version control.
• Required Skills & Knowledge: Minimum 1 year experience in power circuit board development.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics (SMPS, converters, rectifiers, inverters).
• Hands-on experience with PCB design and debugging.
• Firmware development experience using C/C++ for microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of MCU platforms (STM32, PIC, AVR, ESP32, etc.).
• Ability to use test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power analyzer).
• Understanding of protection circuits, EMI/EMC basics, and safety standards.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, ECE, or related field.
