Role OverviewWe’re seeking a capable MERN Stack Developer to join our in-house development team at the Ghukn office. You will work on full-stack web application development—both front-end and back-end—leveraging modern frameworks and technologies.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain front­end interfaces using React (or similar) and backend services using Node.js/Express.
• Work with MongoDB as the database layer, implement data models, queries and ensure efficient performance.
• Build RESTful APIs, integrate third-party services, and ensure scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to translate designs into responsive, user-friendly applications.
• Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing systems for performance, security, and reliability.
• Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements to our stack and processes.
• Required Skills & TechnologiesMinimum 2 years’ professional experience as a MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) developer.
• Strong proficiency in React: components, state management (Redux/MobX or hooks), routing, UI libraries.
• Solid backend experience: Node.js, Express.js, RESTful API design, authentication/authorization.
• Database experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, query optimisation.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), build tools, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, front-end performance tuning.
• Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, input validation, sanitisation).
• Good communication skills—able to collaborate with product, UI, QA teams, and present ideas.
• Willingness to work in the office full-time.
• Nice-to-Have / Bonus SkillsExperience with TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL.
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience in consumer-goods / manufacturing domain or ERP integrations.
