Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Inquiry & Lead Management·
Responding to client inquiries and providing exceptional customer service, including company and product information.
· Qualifying, prioritizing and converting leads into sales opportunities.
· Generating leads through various channels, including all forms of prospecting, cold-calling, referrals, and networking events.
· Prepare sales/revenue forecast and implement strategies to achieve sales, revenue, profit, and market- share
objectives of the company and deliver on annual and quarterly sales/revenue/profit plans.
· Prepare, Submission of Government/Private tenders.
· Prepare the costing sheet, vendor compare sheet
Sales and Market intelligence·
Analyzing sales metrics to report to the sales team whether current sales strategies are effective and suggest how they may be adapted.
· Liaison with decision-makers to generate business.
· Continuously gathering market intelligence, identifying trends and competitor activities to support business development efforts.
· Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the solar industry Policies, including products, services, and competitors, to effectively educate clients and offer tailored solutions.
Sales and Sales Support·
Generating sales proposals and interacting with the client/EPCs/CPs to follow up or request additional information.
· Contributing to the sales target achievement by creating and maintaining a sales pipeline of small and simple deals.
· Monitoring and updating the sales pipeline and the customer database, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
· Ensure prompt follow -up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem resolution, etc.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:·
Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
· Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and cost analyses to stakeholders.
· Provide regular team work updates, and improvement plans.
· Address any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring effective communication to mitigate risks and maintain positive relationship.
Generate the new vendors to minimize the costings of project.
