Skin Counsellor

We are looking for a confident and knowledgeable skin clinic counsellor to join our growing dermatology and aesthetic clinic for the Ghaziabad location. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding patients through their treatment journey by understanding their concerns, recommending appropriate skin, hair, and laser solutions, and ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dermatological treatments combined with excellent counselling and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with patients to understand their skin, hair, and aesthetic concerns.

• Educate patients about various dermatological, cosmetic, skin, hair, and laser treatments offered by the clinic.

• Recommend suitable treatment plans in coordination with dermatologists and medical staff.

• Explain treatment procedures, expected results, timelines, risks, and post-treatment care clearly and empathetically.

• Convert consultations into treatment plans by building trust and addressing patient queries and objections.

• Maintain accurate patient records, consultation notes, and follow-up schedules.

• Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and front-desk teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.

• Follow up with patients regarding ongoing treatments, progress, and future procedures.

• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, hygiene standards, and ethical counselling practices.

• Contribute to clinic revenue by achieving consultation-to-conversion targets without compromising patient care.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong counselling and communication skills with a patient-first approach.

• Sound knowledge of skin, hair, and laser treatments, including cosmetic dermatology procedures.

• Ability to explain medical and aesthetic procedures in simple, reassuring terms.

• Experience as a Skin Counsellor / Derma Counsellor in a skin or dermatology clinic.

• Sales orientation with ethical counselling practices.

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term patient relationships.

• Basic computer skills for managing patient data and clinic systems.

• Well-groomed, professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Skin Counsellor or Derma Counsellor in a dermatology, aesthetic, or skin clinic.

• Prior experience handling skin, hair, and laser consultations is mandatory.

• Certification or training in aesthetic counselling or dermatology will be an added advantage
