Job Title: Equity Technical Analyst / Share Trading Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Equity Technical Analyst with 4–5 years of experience in share trading and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in technical chart analysis, trading strategies, and market trends. You will be responsible for providing actionable insights, identifying trading opportunities, and supporting decision-making for short- and medium-term equity trades.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse stock charts, price patterns, and technical indicators (e.g., RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands) to identify trading opportunities

Fundamental analysis with strong knowledge of financial modelling and valuation

Monitor and interpret market trends, volumes, support/resistance levels, and other price action signals

Develop and execute technical trading strategies based on market conditions and risk appetite

Prepare daily, weekly, and intraday market reports with technical outlooks and trade recommendations

Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and research teams to align technical views with broader strategies

Use trading platforms and charting tools (e.g., Trading View, Meta Trader, Bloomberg, Am broker) to conduct real-time analysis

Maintain and update watch lists and trading dashboards for active stocks

Stay updated with macroeconomic events, earnings reports, and global market movements affecting stock prices

Back-test strategies and continuously improve trading models and systems

Assist in managing positions, risk, and capital allocation based on defined strategies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field

4–5 years of experience in equity technical analysis, share trading, or a similar role

Strong understanding of technical analysis tools, candlestick patterns, and trading psychology

Proficiency in charting platforms (e.g., Trading View, Meta Stock, Amibroker) and MS Excel

Solid knowledge of capital markets, stock exchanges (NSE/BSE or others), and order types

Experience with intraday and positional trading strategies

Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced and time-sensitive environments.
