Job Description
Travel Consultant at SR DESTINATION is responsible for managing client inquiries, creating travel itineraries, coordinating with local suppliers, and ensuring smooth operations for all bookings. This role requires strong communication, destination knowledge, quick response skills, and the ability to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- 🧠Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Client HandlingHandle incoming travel inquiries from agents and clients via phone, WhatsApp, email, and social channels.
- Understand client requirements and suggest the best itineraries and hotel options.
- Create customized travel quotations and proposals for Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Almaty.
- Follow up consistently to convert inquiries into bookings.
- Maintain excellent relationships with travel agents, partners, and B2B networks.
- 2. Itinerary & Proposal CreationPrepare clear and attractive day-wise itineraries.
- Suggest hotels based on budget, category, and client preferences.
- Coordinate with on-ground partners for rates, availability, and confirmations.
- Ensure all proposals are accurate, competitive, and delivered quickly.
- 3. Booking & OperationsConfirm bookings with suppliers (hotels, transport, tours, cruises, guides).
- Issue confirmations, vouchers, and invoices to clients.
- Manage pre-arrival, on-tour, and post-tour coordination.
- Handle last-minute changes, upgrades, customer support, and emergencies.
- Ensure flawless execution of all services from arrival to departure.
- 4. Destination & Product KnowledgeStay updated with new hotels, sightseeing points, activities, transfers, policies, and pricing.
- Suggest unique experiences to enhance client satisfaction.
- Track competitor pricing and adapt accordingly.
- Attend training sessions and supplier meetings whenever required.
- 5. Documentation & ReportingMaintain booking sheets, lead trackers, and payment records.
- Share daily updates on inquiries, conversions, and follow-ups.
- Ensure all communication is documented and organized.
- 💼 Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 1–3 years of experience in travel industry (B2B preferred, B2C acceptable).
- Strong knowledge of international travel, hotels, and itineraries (experience with Vietnam/Georgia/Azerbaijan/Almaty is a plus).
- Excellent communication in English and Hindi.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple queries, and deliver quick responses.
- Basic understanding of Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, email drafting, and CRM tools.
