VMC Programmer

We are a CNC machining job work company operating multiple VMC machines and serving automotive and industrial component manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced VMC programmer who can handle programming, tooling, and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Create CNC programs for VMC machines using CAM software
• Optimize machining cycle time and tool paths
• Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Prepare setup sheets and tooling lists
• Support operators during setup and production
• Reduce machining time and improve productivity
• Handle multiple part programs for batch production

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with VMC machines using Fanuc control
• Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, DelCam, Powermill, or Fusion 360
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and tolerances
• Knowledge of tool selection, feeds, and speeds
• Experience in machining materials such as aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel
• Ability to optimize programs to reduce cycle time
• Basic troubleshooting of machining problems

Preferred Skills:

• Fixture design knowledge
• Experience in job work machining environment
• Ability to manage multiple machines and operators

Education:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production or Excellent Individual with proven skills
