Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and dedicated Helper Cook (female) to assist in the preparation of meals for a family within a private home setting. The ideal candidate will be expected to stay within the household for 24 hours, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly, meals are prepared on time, and the overall cleanliness of the cooking area is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as required.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, well-balanced, and meet the family’s dietary preferences.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing ingredients.
• Store ingredients properly and assist in inventory management to ensure sufficient supplies.
• Follow food safety standards and hygiene practices in food preparation and storage.
• Support the head cook in meal planning and recipe execution.
• Be available for any other kitchen-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook or in a kitchen helper role.
• Ability to prepare traditional and contemporary meals (specific cuisines may be a plus).
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Comfortable working in a family home and assisting with a range of tasks.
• Flexible with working hours and availability.
• Must be able to stay in the home for 24 hours and provide assistance as needed.
