Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:1. Operations ManagementEnsure smooth day-to-day functioning of the outlet including opening, closing, and shift management.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and service standards as per company SOPs.
  • Ensure quality control over food, beverages, and customer service delivery.
  • Manage cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily sales reconciliation.
  • Oversee inventory management — stock ordering, wastage control, and coordination with central kitchen/supply chain.
  • 2. Customer ExperienceGreet and interact with customers courteously; handle feedback and complaints promptly.
  • Ensure quick service, product presentation, and consistent taste as per Namaste Chai brand standards.
  • Build regular customer relationships to increase loyalty and repeat business.
  • 3. Team ManagementSupervise and train outlet staff (baristas, kitchen crew, service staff, cleaners).
  • Schedule shifts, monitor attendance, and maintain discipline and grooming standards.
  • Motivate the team to achieve daily sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • 4. Sales & PerformanceAchieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Track outlet performance through reports (sales, footfall, average billing, wastage, etc.).
  • Promote upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Support marketing campaigns and new product launches at the outlet.
  • 5. Compliance & ReportingEnsure all licenses, safety, and food compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports on sales, inventory, petty cash, and staff attendance.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Area/Operations Manager.
